London School of Hypnotherapy Psychotherapy and Counselling LTD (“LSHPC”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the website and to understand how our community interacts with our content. This page explains how and why cookies are used, which choices are available, and how you can update your preferences at any time.

1. Data controller and contact details

LSHPC LTD – 86-90 Paul Street 3rd Floor, London, England EC2A 4NE – Company number 10845401.

For any privacy-related enquiry or to exercise your rights you can write to info@lshpc.co.uk.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They may be placed directly by LSHPC (“first-party cookies”) or by selected partners (“third-party cookies”). Some cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the service you request; others are optional and require your prior consent.

3. Cookies used on this site

  • Necessary cookies (always active) – Enable core functions such as page navigation, language selection and security. They do not store personally identifiable information and do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (optional) – Help us understand how visitors interact with the site in aggregate form (page views, time on page, navigation paths). They are disabled by default.
  • Marketing cookies (optional) – Allow us to personalise communications or enable remarketing campaigns. They are disabled by default.

At the time of writing no third-party analytics or marketing scripts are loaded before you provide consent. If and when new partners are activated, this policy will be updated and the consent banner will prompt you again.

4. Managing your preferences

  • On your first visit you are asked to choose whether to allow optional cookies via the cookie banner.
  • You can modify your choices at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer or reopening the banner.
  • Your consent is stored in the browser’s local storage together with the version of this policy. If we make material changes, we will request your preferences again.

Blocking optional cookies may affect the accuracy of analytics reports or the relevance of marketing communications, but the website will remain fully accessible.

5. Third-party services

If you consent to optional cookies, the following categories of providers may place cookies or read information from your browser:

  • Analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics) – used to collect aggregated statistics and improve our courses and events.
  • Marketing and remarketing tools (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads) – used to measure campaign performance and reach prospective students.

Whenever possible we enable privacy-enhancing features offered by these providers (anonymisation, IP masking, limited retention). Links to their policies will be included before activation.

6. Data retention

Cookie preferences are retained for 12 months, after which you will be asked to confirm your choice again. Analytics and marketing data derived from cookies are retained according to the rules of the respective providers and aggregated for statistical purposes.

7. Your rights

You have the right to withdraw consent, request access, deletion or portability of your personal data, and to object to processing where applicable. To exercise these rights write to info@lshpc.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
